Nothing in this life is in our control. Sure, we go through our daily lives making plans, working, living just as though we were in control, and to some extent we are. Our lives take on regular patterns and we are comfortable with them as long as there are no interruptions to what we EXPECT from those routines. But God never told us there wouldn't be interruptions. He never told us we could never be fired from our jobs, lose our homes in disasters, lose our health to some disease, or even our faith in Him.

What He did promise us is that He is The Rock. He is all powerful, all forgiving, all loving, all faithful, all merciful. He is Everything. And if we trust and accept Him, we will be comforted by Him. So when it comes to living with mortal pain and disappointment, we must know in our hearts that we are living out His plan for us, the greatest mystery of all, and praise Him more. He is the only One Who can truly understand and comfort us. He is the only One who will NEVER leave us. He is our ONLY comfort and solace. He is the One who gave to us the dear one whom we lost. For they were never 'Ours', they were always God's. He just took them back home before he did us.

Praise God.

Friend in Ecclesiastes 3:1 we have to look on the spiritual side of this verse. It is true there is a time for everything, To every thing there is a season & a time to every purpose under the heaven, God has control of everything Now in 3:1 It is referring that with our God given free will, There is a time for everything, without it being sin. There is a time ti hat & a time to love & a time of war & a time of peace. What God is saying is that he is aware of ALL events that hs taken place & everything that will ome to pass., In other words, Nothing takes God by surprise. It is not that God sat down & sid on Dec 16th here will be a major earthquake, Yes God does know that, But we have to use our own common wisdom. 3:1 is saying Nothing takes God by surprise/

Psalm 147:5 - large is our Lord, and of significant ability: his comprehend-how is infinite. pastime 37:16 did you comprehend the way the clouds carry poised, those wonders of him who's suitable in expertise? Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, preserving watch on the depraved and the best. no longer a Jew or Christian, and disagree with a lot of what the Bible says, fantastically the Pauline idea of passing on sin from one to a unique. yet God isn't a human being coming up by journey. those situations are not for His earnings, yet for the convenience of the human beings in contact. He knew, warned the human beings, and they did what they had to, besides. EDIT: Your Sodom and Gomorrah reference: Genesis 18:20, 21 - Then the LORD reported, "The outcry adversarial to Sodom and Gomorrah is so large and their sin so grievous, that i visit go down and note if what they have achieved is as undesirable because the outcry that has reached me. If no longer, i visit comprehend." at the same time as it doesn't provide credit to unique sin, and so on. Omniscience is an characteristic of God given contained in the Quraan. God is He besides whom there isn't any god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by whom all subsist; close eye does no longer overtake Him nor sleep; even with is contained in the heavens or maybe with is contained in the earth is His; who's he that can intercede with Him yet by His permission? He is acquainted with what's before them and what's in the back of them, and they could be able to not comprehend something of His expertise except what He pleases, His expertise extends over the heavens and the earth, and the renovation of them both tires Him no longer, and he's the most intense, the entire. 2:255

I'm not a religious buff at all i hate religion to be exact but i do believe their is a higher power. Having said that i think that our lives are already set in place and God knows whats gonna happen but God cant stop or alter it in anyway. Therefor God is still all knowing but we cannot blame at him when bad/good things happen.

Just my take.

I like to look at it this way and it releases GOD from the tyrant issue. man looks on the outward appearance but GOD lokks in the heart..GOD knows us from the inside. HE knows sin from the inside out, and HE knows righteousness from the inside out. so I believe that that GOD knows because HE understands like like no on else.It appears to those of us that believe that HE controls all things, but HE knows all things and how it is going to turn out. he gives all of us the freedom of choice because HE is not a tyrant.. He is GOD . He wants us to c hoose HIM. and to know GOD is to love HIM.
