Benadryl is the only safe antihistamine/decongestant for early pregnancy. If you are beyond the first trimester, then pseudoephedrine is safe to use unless you have hypertension. If you do have hypertension, then I seriously suggest trying some Vicks Vaporub and Benadryl and just sleeping it off. Make sure you get plenty of fluids, and don't overdose on Vitamin C - it doesn't help, and they don't know what the effects of megadose vitamins are. Hot decaffeinated black tea is fine, as is water, juice, and any other non-dairy fluids you care to take in that don't have caffeine in them.

OK here you go the BEST ---- Most Prescrptions and Over the counter contain adrenalizers that make your (and the Babies) heart race. They also cause the memBranes to swell AND SO AFTER A DAY OR 2 IT FEELS AS IF YOU ARE STUFFED UP BUT NOW IT IS DUE TO THE SWELLING Go to a health food type store and get SILVER COLLOIDAL, look it up on the internet this stuff is the best thing I have ever used. it is really only silver and water! it is harmless and is carried by NASA in the space shuttle. I have never used another product I would recommend like I do this.

Preferably I would go and see a Doctor about it, or ask the pharmacist at the chemist, some may be fine, but because your nose have mucus membranes inside, the spray will get into your system and through to the baby. I had conjunctivitis once and I had to get special drops because of that reason.

bonus:
avoid all that stuff, its just a temp fix. follow these steps and it will get rid of it guaranteed
1) Drink plenty of OJ/Viatmin C beverages. Constant
2) Get plenty of sleep, at least 8 hours a day
3) boil a pot of water, and get damp towel. Slowly, breath in the steam, but dont get too close or else it will burn. breath in very slowly and repeat the process.

I've got Allegra D from my doctor, and I know a pregnant woman can use it, because my daughter used it, and she just delivered twins.
