My wisdom teeth are coming in and moving the other teeth. OTHER than getting them removed (because my friends and I all know that I aint letting that happen!) what can I do to keep my other teeth straight while my wisdoms are coming in. Like I said, removal AINT gonna happen, no matter what anyone says, so don't waste the energy of typing it.

If your wisdom teeth are coming in right-side-up, braces are your only option, but only *after* all four wisdom teeth come in. Now, I don't know if you have any cavities yet, but they are more likely to occur with braces, and because your teeth will be more tightly packed with those four extra teeth, it will require more care to stay cavity-free. They do make a special thin dental floss for tightly packed teeth. Do some research on wisdom teeth. There are websites that show all the different directions wisdom teeth can come in.

It is your mouth, and it is your choice, but if you are dead set against removal, you do need to be aware of the potential risks.

Do I have my wisdom teeth, you betcha, in a jar, along with one other that was pulled because there was NO way I was getting braces, and it was the only way to alleviate the pain of all them teeth trying on occupy my jaws -- three of my wisdom teeth were coming in so that they were pushing all the rest of my teeth forward. I am, BTW, 48 and have no cavities, no fillings, no crowns, and, counting the 5 teeth in the jar, I still have all my teeth. They aren't straight, not by a long shot.

However, it *IS* your mouth and it *IS* your choice, just make yourself aware of the pros and cons, because there is *>NO<* way to keep the rest of your teeth straight while your wisdoms are coming in.

Good Luck with whatever choice you make.

There is absolutely NO way that your other teeth will stay STRAIGHT if you let them come in, obviously there is not enough room in your mouth to allow them to come in.

I know you don't want to hear this....get them removed!

Your smile will be affected and you may not feel pretty when that happens....think about it....will you smile to a potential boyfriend...???

Well then I suggest you start to enjoy the taste of metal as they come in, the pain and when they push all your other teeth and crowd them out. You will have a smile no one will forget. You can have a lifetime of embarrassment as apposed to a few days of inconvenience....enjoy!!!

You can't have it both ways, darling, face it.
I did.
There is just a limited amount of space in each person's mouth.
You will have a mouthful of bent over teeth
In front of or behind each other
taking forever to come in
and aching

The only way is if your dentist gives you braces (Of some sort) to attempt to straighten them.

Otherwise, you could end up in severe pain and end up having to take them out.

Tooth extractions really aren't that bad. Why are you so adamant of not having it done?
