I've never understood why people believe that the human body must not be looked at or admired. If a person wants to be modest, then that's their right. But what about people who are proud of their body. Why is it wrong to admire the human body for all of its beauty. The way some religious people react it's as though the human body were an abhorant and disgusting thing.

I always liked these thoughts on the matter :

On Clothes
Kahlil Gibran

Your clothes conceal much of your beauty, yet they hide not the unbeautiful.
And though you seek in garments the freedom of privacy you may find in them a harness and a chain.
Would that you could meet the sun and the wind with more of your skin and less of your raiment,
For the breath of life is in the sunlight and the hand of life is in the wind.

Some of you say,"It is the north wind who has woven the clothes we wear."
And I say, Ay, it was the north wind,
But shame was his loom, and the softening of the sinews was his thread.
And when his work was done he laughed in the forest.
Forget not that modesty is for a shield against the eye of the unclean.

And when the unclean shall be no more, what were modesty but a fetter and a fouling of the mind?
And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

There is no shame in it.
It is only when you allow other people to force their own prudish beliefs onto you that there is shame. If you do not allow it, the shame does not exist.
I think that it is the opposite-not shameful, but innocent. If you do not choose to apply that pretext to it, it cannot be wrong to admire the human body.
Just as Adam and Eve had no idea their bodies were something to be ashamed of until the apple, neither are we as children until we are taught to be.

by using fact promoting has placed one in each and every of those severe call for on splendor, eighty% of the inhabitants could on no account have the means to realize it. splendor has grow to be one in each and every of those in many situations occurring that it makes human beings sense inadequate in the event that they don't have the main suitable clothing, deodorant, hair colour, or perhaps drink the main suitable pop. The intimacy isn't incorrect, it particularly is barely the way anybody is uncovered to it. humorous you reported the Amazon as my spouse and that i've got been in Panama there have been topless natives promoting their works and a pair from North Carolina have been thoroughly disgusted on the way they have been dressed. I want I knew what the natives have been questioning.

Now. Living in a culture awashed in pornography, rape, abuse, sexual assault you are asking this question?!

Many can not handle themselves now, let alone prancing around groping, abusing, and assaulting people while on display!

Hygiene issues were probably a part of it as well.

Modesty protects the rights of the many against the few.

God knew we have difficulty with controlling our sexual desires it is humanity's greatest weakness.

Lets look at the question.

1-Between husband and wife - nothing at all.

2-But as adultery and fornication - God forbids it.

1-Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (first husband and wife)
Genesis 26:8 And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife. (husband and wife in active sexual pleasure)
Corinthians I 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. (marriage is to prevent fornication)
Corinthians I 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. (there one body together)

2- Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Mark 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Corinthians I 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

God gave man to be enjoyed by the woman and the women to be enjoyed by the man.
Marriage was God's plan for intercorse: (look) Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Adam, Eve - Go make children, what God is saying

Look at Sarah, when she was told about having a child way beyond age, see what she says about sex with Abraham:
Genesis 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
to her it was pleasure, but funny for old old people

Yeah that'd all be very nice in an ideal world, to just wander around naked. Trouble is it's not an ideal world, we have to live in this one.
