12 months for my son. That is customary and by 12 months they will usually have the enzymes needed to digest it unless they are lactose intolerant.

With my 2 older children, everyone was telling me that I could start them on whole milk at 9 months....I never did. With both of them I waited until they were 1 year old....no younger. And I will definately do the same with my 6 month old baby too. I am sure there is nothing wrong with starting earlier, but I saw no point, what's the big deal if they are on formula until they are 1? I see no harm in waiting or going earlier, it is completely up to the parent.

Start weening them on a sippie cup about 6 months old...just with their juice. Then by the time they are 10-11 months old you can start weening them an ounce at a time on the milk. 7 ounces of formula to 1 ounce of milk. Then every few days add one more ounce of milk. It's worked for my daughter, and everyone else I know. Their stomachs don't get upset that way.

I started my son on whole milk when he turned a year old but you should start like mayne a month or two before that and mix half and half so it won't be a big shck on your baby's stomach. Switching straight to cows milk can cause constipation so i would be mixing half formula and half cows milk a month or two prior to your baby turning a year old.

I found that formula had much more nutrients so I kept my Jacob on it till he was about 15 months old, beware the switch isnt always pretty. Jacob had a very difficult time passing bowls, while my younger son Caleb was switched at 12 months (exactly on his B-day) and his body adjusted with out problems

Hadley would be one on Saturday and we in simple terms presented entire milk to her previously this month. We in simple terms gave her particularly at a time to get her used to the style, and to enable her understand that this takes the situation of her bottle with formulation. FYI, she LOOOOVES entire milk. She gulped it suitable down. i became apprehensive particularly previously each and every thing b/c she had some tummy issues whilst she became an toddler. yet she has executed exceptional with it, and we supply her slightly extra on a daily basis. After the can of formulation we've, we're not procuring to any extent further, by using fact she would not look as though she will miss it. besides, to answer your questions.. i could taper him off so it is not one in each and every of those ask your self. you are able to steadily introduce slightly at a time to him in his cup, and supply him entire milk, a minimum of for the 1st 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. If i'm no longer improper, I study you would be able to offer them 2% whilst they turn 2.

i started my daughter on whole milk when she was 11 months old. but before then i mixed the two. like half milk and half formula. it doesn't hurt them and it helps that you do that so they are not depending on formula until their 2 years old. my daughter is not lactose intolerant. i have a 7 month old boy and im going to do the same thing to him. trust me youll save on formula. (but if youre on WIC then its free)

I started my daughter at 12 months, but then she started to get really sick, she kept throwing up. I found out that she had a milk allergy so I started to give her soy milk.

12 to 24 months of age, if not later. If you start earlier you may cause iron deficiency anemia. Which isn't good. Read up on the link below.
