This is a very common game played by women...don't fall for it...and you did the right thing by not reacting.
She does not mean a word of it...which is why she has cancelled dinner.
She is using you to make her boyfriend jealous.
She is hoping he will get jealous and pay more attention to her.
Obviously...her boyfriend has been taking her for granted...but she still love him and she is trying to get him to notice her.
You should stay out of it and ignore her.
Don't take the boyfriend side either...as that would not be fair to her. She is crying for attention...and if she don't get it...she will leave him.

I know about this sort of thing first hand, you must ask your wife if there was a hot young woman living next door would it be okay for you to hug, kiss and flirt with her? I bet she wouldn't approve. This kind of thing puts pressure on your marriage and your wife should respect your wishes and not "encourage" this guy by flirting with him. My wife used to hug and kiss men on the cheek when we went out, she said she was brought up that way and liked it. I suggested a compromise, only do it to good friends and no kiss just a hug. She is fine with it now and so am I. Your wife probably likes the idea that men thinks she is hot so you have to start giving her compliments on her looks. Often when my wife gets out of the car I roll down the car window and make some flirtatious comment as she walks away. She turns and has a great big smile, she just loves it.

She is definitely doing that. Stay away from her man unless you want big trouble....of course if they break up and shes still flirting with you, then should be good to go, though I wouldnt keep her as a serious girlfriend, she might just do the same to you!

You should stay as far away from this mess as you can! It sounds as if their relationship is a time bomb waiting to explode! Distance yourself, you don't need an excuse as to why you don't come around anymore. Situations like this can become dangerous! This woman doesn't sound very stable! Nothing good will come of this if you continue to hang around.

She was doing it in front of her boyfriend and then recants? She is just trying to hurt him by making him jealous, also she is trying to show him that she is desirable to other men. I have to ask you why would you agree to go to dinner when it is only going to be more of the same? Be a good neighbor and try to stay out of it.

I think the answer is to maintain cordial but firm distance. Sounds like trouble to me. If you like trouble, get it a few miles from home where it won't torment you night and day.

Try to limit your association with your neighbour's girlfriend to a minimum. I sense trouble if you do not. If her behaviour gets worst, try declining offers from your neighbour until you are sure of his presence.

If the boyfriend is within ear shot of what she has said to you then she is obviously trying to push his buttons to make him jealous for his sake i hope he moves on and far from her how do you find trust in some one who disrespect you like that . also if she has any respect for herself she should be apologizing to you as well for making you uncomfortable like that good luck to you .
