Good on you for booking a cab.
You can buy self-testing breath test kits - I wish my mother would get one. Apparently you should use it at least 20 mins after your last drink. Test yourself the next day. Alcohol stays in the system longer than you might imagine!
Best bet is to not drink at all if you have to drive or book a cab.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. Just book a cab before you go and space the drinks!!

It depends when you started drinking.
If you drank all of the vodka at midnight you would'nt be clear till 12 hours plus an hour for every one you drink.

I reckon you could still be over the limit, and wouldn't risk it. Takes a while for the alcohol to go through your system, you may not feel drunk, but could still have too much alcohol in your system to drive. x

First, estimate your BAC from all of those drinks. Then, subtract about 0.01 for each hour after you quit drinking.
If you aren't at 0, don't risk it.
