As long as your prescription is in its original container you should have no problem bringing Tylenol 3 across the border. You can buy Tylenol 1 without prescription in Canada but you have to ask the pharmacist for it. The same goes for 222 which is the same only in an aspirin base. both have the legal amount of codeine in them for across counter medicine.

I'm assuming you're talking about bringing it into Canada. If you have a prescription for it, you can bring in as much as you need as long as it is in the pharmacy container. (Having a copy of the prescription or a letter from your doctor would be okay if you don't have the original packaging) You can buy Tylenol 1, which has a small amount of codeine 8mg (compared to 60mg in Tylenol 4) in Canadian pharmacies without a prescription - it's behind the counter.
