It isn't only foods that rev up your metabolism, it is the number of times you eat a day. Believe it or not, eating 6 small meals a day will keep your metabolism running better that eating 3 regular ones.

Yes, Spicy food. Food with low carbs, high protein such as meats and cheese and eggs. Plenty of water. Stay away form the sugar. Be sure to take in plenty of fiber to get rid of waste products. Stay away from processed food (too easy for the body to digest) you want to make your body work harder this will increase metabolism.

Whole grains, veggies, fresh fruit, fish, poultry, plenty of water and juice, and lots of fiber. Limit your intake of red meats, get rid of all simple sugars, pastries, white breads. This diet will rid your body of toxins and inflammation and, with proper exercise, will greatly boost your metabolism and give you lots of energy. Don't get rid of all fats, you'll need them for energy, but avoid animal fats.
