please, just don't use it. its kind of old fashioned, and most people (people under 30) don't use the phrase unless we are trying to make fun of being australian, or if you're a country cowboy bogan sort of person....
if you're an american we will hate you for saying it, though if ur british it may be slightly more endearing.
if you do inisist on using the phrase, this is how

just say your playing cricket and your friend bowled one for six, then you go "You beaut" as in a congratulatory sense ie. "Wow, you just bowled spectacularly well then, my dear friend"

it is used if someone does something well, like shagged someone hot, or just bought a really nice ute, but it is sort of rough language, and does not permit itself being used in formal situations, or if you live in the city.

This is not a kind of thing one can teach. It is a case of observe and see how it is used here. Usually it is something said when something nice happen like when you are watching sport or when you are waiting for something and it happened or someone gave you something you particularly wanted.

And it's usually "you beauty!"

If you are from overseas, please don't use it (as already mentioned by Roxy) - you will only make it sound like you are trying to hard to be an Aussie and people will only laugh at you. You don't have to talk like us to be accepted here
