Omg, I am so furious. His friends were talking about taking a trip next year. So I told them don't plan on any promises with my bf cause last year he wasn't even there for our 1 yr anniversary. So my bf gives his "reason why" he wasn't there and ends his statement in a strong voice of "OK *****." He called me a ***** in a public resturant with his brother and 2 best friends right there...Needless to say I drove straight home without saying goodbye, i was so furious, embarrassed, humilated and hurt by him. That is so demeaning and disrespectful. he went out w/ his friends and, doesn't even act like he cares. So I text him and let him know im pissed and he said he didn't mean to be mean. but i asked him to ask his friends if calling me a ***** was out of line and they agreed with me. So y is he still out with his friends right now and not apologizing? what should i do? do i have a right to be upset or am i over reacting? i want to kick his *** lol We've been dating for a 1 1/2 yrs

Wait.... okay, I'm pretty sure his friends know that he missed our anniversary anyway. I guess I was basically saying, if he missed our one year, what made his friends think that he was gonna do this trip...

Definitely have a right to be angry. You have your boundaries, and he stepped over the line.

Best thing to do is sit down when you're not that angry and talk to him about how it made you feel and why it's unaccaptable behavior on his part, and if he wants to be in a relationship with you, he has to respect that boundary or he's history.

Your only dating and he called you that! Wow it's time to get rid of him. He will only get worse with the more commitment! Obviously he has no respect for you or he would have never called you that. Obviously he doesn't even regret it or he would have come right over an appoligized not being out with his friends.
At least you only wasted a 1 and a half before you seen his true colors thank the good lord you weren't married then see this dispectible side.

Sometimes guys act differently in front of friends to be cool or whatever. It was mean of him to say that, and to put you down like that in front of everyone. He needs to apologize. If he does this often, then you need to talk to him or get our. But if this is the first time, then talk about it. If it keeps happening, then something needs to be done. He was out of line, and he probably feels terrible about it. You've been together for a while, its worth working on.

okie honestly...i'd be so angry. iwould slap him right there and then! Since you two have gone out for at least 1 1/2 years, give him one chance to make it up to you, if not, leave him!!! If the guys loves you he will say sorry or make it up to u somehow, also its not worth going out with him for all this time if he still hasnt learned to respect u.

You pretty much demasculated him in front of his friends, what did you expect? If you are THAT angry about a situation, stuff like that should be kept between you two. I agree, him forgetting your anniversary is pretty bad, but just don't put your personal life out there for everyone to hear about.

You don't deserve this crap!!! You need to dump him and find someone else that would never dream of calling you this!!! You have every right to be pissed! Show yourself some respect and do not put up with it!!! Actions speak louder than words!! And, once you say something rude, you can never take it back!!!

Nothing on this earth can be more humiliating than what he did with you and you still call him your friend and still thinking that you might be over-reacting? No, dear, no, just kick him out of your life for ever if you have slightest of dignity and self-respect.
