muslims always fight with each other where as christians are wise to help each others. the example is Us and Israil.even hidus love and respect other hindus.Muslims are divided in the name of state, language, colour, wealth etc.i think this is because the mass is uneducated. why should any body continue to be muslims if people from other faiths hate him.
a muslim from india does not get any respect in gulf on the basis of their relegion, rather the arabi look down upon then considering them as 3rd.grade muslims.
in their own country in india they are denied of basic needs like emploment, education and housings.
can any body make me understand why one should practise islam inspite of so much backwardness particularly when we all know that all relegions teach the same thoery of living in a civilised society.

it is the people who r making missunderstanding among our muslims cause they are frighten that if we all muslims are united they won't be able to servive in this world.
it is written in the RESPECTABLE QURAN that there will be a time where all people will become opposite to muslims.
and i whould like to advice u that instead of wasting time in this u should better pray to ALLAH and read QURAN u will get all the answer INSHALLAH
and u know what that all the muslims are succesfull if they are on the right side cause ALLAH is with us.

I don’t know if you are serious or just some yahoo trying to slam Islam but I’ll pretend that you are Muslim and serious. I am a Christian but do not actively participate in any organized church.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have common roots. We all believe in one God, we are monotheistic. Upwards of Four thousand years ago the monotheistic religion of the day was Judaism. The form of government was a Theocracy. A theocracy is where religious leaders govern the people. Not that the leaders are religious but that they are religious leaders, priests, rabbis etc.
Four thousand years ago these people were killing each other every chance they got. This stopped in roughly 400BCE (before common era) for the Christians because they broke away from rule by theocracy and stopped killing each other. Ok, it only lasted until about 1200 once the theocracy in Europe started up again but we're all better now! About the same time (not real sure of this) the Jewish people began to break apart and the theocracies that caused so much death and destruction began to disintegrate.
At the end of the sixth century, the prophet Mohammad established the Islamic religion (you probably know this much better than I) and in doing so established a theocracy for the Muslim people that lasts through today. I truly believe that once the people of Islam reject their clerics as political leaders and only embrace them as spiritual guides then the murdering of Muslims by Muslims will end.
It is not God but man who is treats man badly. How could a God that teaches good will toward your fellow man condone murdering others for their women, goats and children? Pretty low rent God if that's the case.

If your faith is strong and pure you need not be perturbed by what others do ?
For 'many' Religion is a matter of convenience. As long as it serves their worldly purpose - name, fame, wealth, power, status etc., etc., - they profess 'one thing' but do just the opposite and all is defended by the argument : That's how the world goes and we have to go with it.
You are different ,cause of the introspection you have done.
But don't blame the 'faith' for the misdeeds and lack of conviction and understanding of others because they have selfish and ulterior motives.
As an advanced soul, you can carry on with the introspection and broaden your understanding of the 'ultimate truth' through the study of other faiths and beliefs. You could continue to be a Muslim there is no harm in it.
Give yourself at least a decade. You will be in a much better state of mind then to take a final decision whatever it may be.
I recommend Sufism to start with as it is an offshoot of Islam.
The problem is not with religion(s), but what human beings have turned religions into.

Not only you most of the labour force irresepective of the nationality don't get any respect!
In India, I had noticed, Muslims don't trust Muslims and trust others even though they call the Muslims as brothern etc....
Why?
Becuase none of you are trust worthy as Indians etc.....You say you are all Muslims first and the nationailty is next.....
Some times back a fellow was with me in plane. Just I talked to him, he was telling he is from the State of Hyderabad...I was surprised with the answer.... Anther time a fellow told me he is a Kashmiri....Either he is an Indian or a Pakistani...
You all want to divide the nations with your idividual identity and ask for your exclusive rights where ever you all live!!!

Hey man.
You've got your facts wrong regarding India.
Muslims are the most pampered community in India (by the politicians).
* The government grants Haj Pilgrimage subsidy to muslims. Check if any other muslim country grants this to its citizens.
*India has had muslim Presidents. A non-muslim head of state in muslim countries is unthinkable.
* There is promise (by politicians) of reservation in government jobs and educational institutions, for muslims.
* India's prime minister recently said that muslims will be given first right on the country's assets.
What more can you ask for?
And you say that in "india they are denied of basic needs like emploment, education and housings"!

The truth of the matter is because God did not create man but ancient man who created God. And ancient ignorant men made up the rules pretending to be God. If there really was a man living in a cloud don't you think that He would come down and get the religions to agree?

Religion is a relationship with The Supreme Divine. Stay in your Faith. Do something. You have already understood the cause and stated it well. Your dismay is genuine. Cause and Effect is the Divine Plan. According to your Holy Book " Allah does not alter tha fate of any nation/group of people unless thay themselves want to change it". The whole God concept it in it's self false. A lie used to control. This God concept has become a tool to control folks. It is also used to cause separation and keep people from getting together and finding out they have been the puppets of hidden "superiors" that benefit with riches they make in having wars. We the cattle, the slaves create for them and we don't know this. Just the concept of God makes us small....very sneaky stuff. I could go on but for the limits of time and the limits of this forum.
My friend, it is not just Islam alone used this way.

Why would the asker deny his religion ?How do you know he is Christian?And to the person who quotes Deutronomy:As a descecndant of Abraham you(all Muslims are) should know that this verse is directed to the Jebusites etc, that you h ave omitted.Do not distort scripture.
