How do I know you exist? I have never seen you. I have never heard your voice. Perhaps some accident in a computer caused this question to suddenly appear here tonight. We all know that it would happen if we gave it enough time.

BTW....I just threw a pile of lumber, bricks and other things together and now I am waiting for a house to appear. We all know that things do just appear don't we? I am even giving it a head start because if I had enough time, all those materials would have appeared all by themselves too.

In reality, I know you exist because for this question to be asked, it took someone to ask it. I may not believe in you, but you know you exist regardless of what I think. By the same token, GOD does exist even if we says He does not. Psalms 139 tells us that there is no place we can go where GOD does not exist and Romans chapter one tells us that the very nature of the universe declares that there IS a God so those who deny it are without excuse. It is not that they can not believe, it is an act of chose because they would have to admit there is someone they will have to answer too.

I say no. No proof, so I'm happy with not believing.
But for some people the thought of god comferts them. They can use him to explain the unexplained. They can blame him when things go wrong or bad in life instead of themself. God also gives people hope when they have none. Some people can't put faith and hope into themself when things are hard and try to do things on their own. The thought that someone is "looking down on you" and "has a reason for everthing" helps them feel less hopeless

God is Spirit and His Spirit is everywhere. Only those who are made alive in their spirits when they know Jesus are able to perceive, sense and know God. If they do not know Jesus they are spiritually dead so obviously they can NEVER sense God in any way. God is a perfect gentleman. He has given all people a free will. God will not force Himself on them. People can freely say God do not exist but must freely accept that they separate themselves from relationship with God for their unbelief.

Nobody has ever proved either side of this argument. It's up to you what you believe to be true. There exists plenty of evidence for and against the existence of a higher power.

Now i was born in West Virginia and the people who work in the coal mines need a belief in God more than anyone. So I don't know where you heard this.
The CHRISTIAN GOD does not need to be present but the CREATOR of ALL THINGS is there wither you believe in IT or not.

Acts 17:24-27
24 The God that made the world and all the things in it, being, as this One is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples, 25 neither is he attended to by human hands as if he needed anything, because he himself gives to all [persons] life and breath and all things. 26 And he made out of one [man] every nation of men, to dwell upon the entire surface of the earth, and he decreed the appointed times and the set limits of the dwelling of [men], 27 for them to seek God, if they might grope for him and really find him, although, in fact, he is not far off from each one of us.

james 4:8
8 Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU. ....

Romans 1:20
20 For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable

There are people everywhere who say there is no God. There are even more people everywhere who believe there is a God. If you want to find out for yourself, ask God to reveal himself to you. If you truly look for him, you will find him.
