Since I was a young boy, I have had intense urges to touch my private areas. Sometimes I have given in to these urges, but I feel horribly guilty afterword. Does anyone know how God feels about this situation? What can I do to stop myself from indulging in these urges? Please Help!

We were all born with a concience, or, the Light of Christ, to know the difference between bad and good. We KNOW when something is bad the first time or few times we do it, but if we keep doing it then those feelings get blotted out so then we can't tell the difference anymore. It doesn't mean that God says it's okay now, it's just cuz the Spirit has been offended and stopped telling you it's bad or you've desensitized yourself to the point to where you can't feel the good or the bad anymore.
That's one reason why it's so easy for some evil people to commit abortion. They are completely desensitized to what is valuable, even life itself!
So, your feelings must be correct. If you feel guilty and like it's wrong it probably and most assuradly is.
It is VERY natural to want to touch your private parts, or have someone else touch them, but if you hold fast and not give in and wait until you are married the reward will be 100x greater than if you give in and do it or let someone else do it!
Good luck. Just don't put yourself in a situation that you KNOW will make it easy to do what's wrong. You know what situations those are, and if you really don't want to do it then you will do whatever it takes to keep yourself from getting into circumstances where you'll even be tempted.

I think people say its wrong only because they find it vulgar. I can think of many other things some would concider vulgar but is just a natural and necessary part of life.
Don't let other people's opinions control your life. You do what you want and ask God to show your heart the truth if it's wrong.

I have read the entire bible, and I have also read or watched documentaries about the books that aren't in the canon.......
And NOWHERE does it say "thou shalt not masturbate".
It's a perfectly normal urge, and there's nothing wrong with you. Stop feeling guilty and whack away my friend.

it is very hard and for boys I am afriad if you do not do it awake it will happen when you sleep girls do not generaly get such strong urges, do not feel guilty but think about the future.
