Because people are like Apples... one bad apple spoiled the barrel....
So most the apples are bad, get rid of them... and save the few

No plague will destroy man, I would recommend you read the book of Revilation, I would also recommend "Are we living in the end times" By Tim Lahaye and Jerry B Jenkins.
If you are a Christian you will not see the end in your present form, you will be raptured and taken to be with Jesus soon. If you are a non Christian you will soon face the tribulation and then the great tribulation. This period will last 3-1/2 years each or 7 years total and it will be the most horrible time mankind has ever known.
Please consider what these books say and think about coming to know the Lord. I would not and God would not have any go through this time on earth, he has provided you with a way out through Christ.
Their will be several plagues as you call it, you will be forces to worship satan or die, if you escape you will not be allowed to by food or goods through the new world order. the plagues will be worse than the baddest horry movie our pitiful minds can dream up.
And if you choose to worship this false God or satan you will still die after the 7 years. Jesus will return after the 7 year period in Power and Glory and destroy evil and those who stood on the wrong side.
Please think about it, I can not force you, no one can. You have to choose.

There are seven plagues that will destroy all mankind who will not serve God "in the end". The trick is to apply Acts Chapter 2 to your life NOW while there is still an opportunity to avoid those seven plagues. If you are part of "The Bride" you will already be safe and standing at His side. Get 'er done. Contol what YOU can control and don't worry about what you cannot stop. If you choose not to believe the basic salvation plan that is, of course, up to you. But don't allow those who proclaim God's word to be "pure fantasy" to give you a false sense of security. I have NEVER heard anyone who has received the Holy Ghost as recorded in the 2nd Chapter of Acts say it is "pure fantasy". Once you have stood in the presence of God you will never be satisfied with less. If you have never stood before Him you will never know what you missed. It's easy to deny a God you have never met. It's impossible to deny God once you have felt His spirit and power. Your call!

if you really want to know the answer, then go to this audio site and listen to the messages....they're free and nothing is required accept a sincere heart and a sincere desire to repent and know the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, unto a saving knowlege of salvation. There are many signs of the end and many plagues, most of which are already going on. The bible says that at the end, even though terrible things will be happening, most will be going about their business, eating and drinking and marrying, right up to the end. Which means without a true saving relationship with Christ, you wont see it coming even though it be a freight train bearing down on you.

Your in the wrong part of the Bible. Read The Revelation to John( a summery of all the books of the Bible) for your answer.
AT present we seem to be under the rule of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse(War. Famine,Plague,and Death).

No idea, but if its in Revelations, its garbage. That thing was all a dream and only put into the bible to scare the crap out of people so they would do what they were told.

wether the bible is correct is a matter of big debate, but yes the end is nigh.I noticed some pine cones around a large dung pile the other day and according to my mystic guide that is a sure sign.

the bible also talks about a talking snake and a tree, this all mighty God thing that has to REST after creating the earth and man (he gets tired?), and people living to be 900 years old... look at what you are reading, bro.

I can not think of such a verse but their are many ways to destroy mens and islam is one of them, in my opinion.
