Alcohol is not an effective sterilizing agent against all microorganisms. Bleach is 100%. RN

Use Alcohol.

Bleach can damage the finish or start to dissolve it. Besides, alcohol is much safer on skin.

YES ALCOHOL AND or BOIL it in water for 5 to 10 minutes

either will work but for this application best go with alchohol. bleach is very powerful and often miss-used. alchohol will evaporate quickly.
