ok this is a tricky one. in my experience if you want to make them happy. do your job of course. but you should also look and see what his job is. if you make their boss happy. then your boss's job is that much easier. it could be simple things like showing up on-time, or early every day. or hard stuff like coming up with promotional ideas. but if you make a visual effort to make your job seem like your number one priority (at least while your there). then that will usuaily win them oner quick.
