Please don't say ask your doctor-there is a standard time for taking these for an ulcer-does anyone know what that is-do you or have you used them and have they helped?

It is best to take them just before or during a meal because it helps keep acid down from the ingested foods

I used to take a PPI with breakfast, but found it preferable to take it at night because my problem occurred after I was in bed and I needed to take a second PPI in the evening.. I've been reading that taking a PPI could cause one not to have enough acid to digest meals. Now I take my PPI before bedtime.
