I unknowning swam in the waters off Honalulu at nigth and went out pretty deep and stayed out there for a very long time. I didn't know you that that was a bad thing, until I returned to my hotel room and while flipping channels, a hotel channel ran this warning about staying out of the water at night. It was warm that night and so was the water. Oops. I'm happy that I made it after that stunt. According to my neighbor, who's Hawaiian, that island has a serious shark problem.

Why are you asking this in hunting?

Sharks that have attacked humans are usually and should be covered by local governments, not ambulance chasing boat-gunners. I think in hawaii you could hunt for boars. But I think fishing would cover sharks.

I would guess just off shore. Probably in the best surfing area.
