What do you believe.........one day "poof", some gorilla's turned into humans. You need to read the book of genesis. There was no "poof" involved. God just created Adam and Eve. Do I really believe that? YES! Remember, this is the God who created the universe. If He could create a universe, I don't think He'd have a real problem creating adam and eve. As far as incest is concerned, incest was not condemned until the time of Moses. In the days of adam and eve there was no reason to condemn incest because the gene pool was relatively pure and there was no danger of close relatives having children with deletirious genetic mutations. I'm still waiting to hear what you believe. Do you believe in evolution? In your brain there are 100 billion neurons. Each one of those neurons(remember, there's 100 billion of them) is connected to 1000 other neurons. That comes out to 100 trillion connections in your brain. These connections send electronic signals(and you can measure the electricity) from one place to another. If part of the brain is damaged and you lose some function that is controlled by that part of the brain, the brain can actually re-wire itself and let other neurons in the undamaged part of the brain take over so that you can get back that function. That's only the connections in the brain, not the rest of the body.
Our bodies also have tons of information in the DNA. You have enough information in your DNA to fill encyclopedia sized books stacked from here to the moon and back 500 times. Do you really think that came about by just random chance........kind of like a monkey typing out the works of Shakespear just by randomly plucking away at the keys?
You need to step back and look at the big picture of what is being claimed by evolution, namely, that the unbelieveable complexity of the human brain(not to mention the rest of the body) is nothing more than re-arranged pond scum. It’s pond scum from the original prebiotic soup re-arranged over billions of years into 100 trillion connections in the brain by luck…..just random chance. It's sort of.....from goo to you via the zoo and all just by luck, random chance......roll the dice....pull the slot machine lever.
Creation is common sense. Wherever you see design there's got to be a designer. That's just common sense. It's like Paly once said. He said that if you're walking along in a forest and you find a wrist watch that keeps perfect time, the only logical conclusion is that it was designed. Everywhere in the universe there is design. Just look around you. Anything that is living is infinitely complex. An atheist has to say what Richard Dawkins says, namely, that there is no real design in the universe.....just the appearance of design.
You just can't logically and realistically deny that there's design all through the universe. It's all around you. You have to be blind not to see it. There are branches of science that basically just study the design in nature.........scientific disciplines such as nano-technology and bio-mimetrics. These disciplines study the design in nature.......whales,bats,dolphins have sonar.......and try to create machines that mimic that design. Everywhere you look there's design. Where there's design there's got to be a designer. That's just common sense. Creation is not an unproven theory. It's a common sense fact that we come to by just using a little
logic and reason.
And you're making fun of adam and eve?

What theory??? A theory a priory can be tested. Adam and Eve is a poor explanation of something ancients understood NOTHING. It's a small part of the creation story and trying to understand the universe. The creation story in the bible and many other creation myths are an attempt to explain the whys and the hows of the universe and it's inhabitants. They are all very naive.
The big bang, evolution and the rest are a by far more interesting provable approach. It is also absolutely amazing in its depth and scope, its tenacity and universality. The genes we carry are billions of years old. All life on earth comes from the same source. The variations are beyond the wildest fantasies.
"Poof" is such a poor and imperfect substitute to reality.

Only in the Forgotten books of Eden does it say that ADAM died while still in the Garden at the age of 930yrs and was buried on or in the cave of treasures. The others say that ADAM lived to be 930yrs of age only.
ADAM AND EVE were the first of the race we call Israelites. AS they met other tribes outside of the GARDEN when they were removed for their transgressions. SO who were these other tribes and who made them? also how long before the creation of ADAM were they made.As they wore the skins of animals. the same as the Creator gave ADAM and EVE just before the exile.
THE approximate place of the location is somewhat Known as described in the Bible. but only two of the four streams can be found. Also the main river that entered into the Garden is missing.

Yes it is all true, but also yes evolution is true also. Mankind was made extremely well in the beginning and we have evolved downward ever since that time. Not from lower to upper but higher to lower. Man originally lived 900 + years now we live 120 or less. Imagine if we used all of our brains and could talk to our 10th generation what knowledge we could pass on. Now man uses about 20% and some blond women 10%, and actually the serpent was the first mankind, he is the missing link that produces the anti-Christ. The word serpent means subtie and crafty;Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

Adam is the first man on earth, in heaven before this. Yes, Allah decided to create a race to worship Him on earth through making it a place to live. Eve was created from Adam. Sin got them out of heaven to earth. Adam got his knowledge from Allah. We are the descendents of Adam and Eve as I do not believe in evolution.

Peace

Wow... I think the more important question is:
Do you people understand the meaning of the word FACT?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fact

A literal interpretation of the Adam and Eve story is, at MOST, a theory; and it's hardly that. Also, I'm pretty sure this question is directed at people who actually DO believe in a literal interpretation of this biblical story. If you believe in it as a metaphor for the birth of the human race then I don't think you have to defend yourself.

I mean, seriously...

I do believe it, but only because of many other experiences. The bible has a funny little way of explaining itself in very small bits and pieces at a time. You can't believe it if you pick it apart here and there for your liking. If you truly are intrigued, look ALOT deeper and ask God (not man who is falliable) to show you. If you truly are curious he will know and he will reveal to you what you want to know at precisely the time you need to know it. It is fascinating! Adam and Eve explain to us why we experience pain and darkness. They were the door that opened us up physically, mentally and spiritually to a negative and positive world.

My personal belief is that A&E were among the first homosapiens. The other humanoids such as the Cro-Magnon and Neanderthals who existed many thousands of years before homosapiens were The Deity's evolutionary experimentations.

I feel there is more to the tale of A&E. It's very possible that both represented the creation and fall of early homosapiens and the story got diluted in the Bible. That's just my take on it.

Adam was created from the ground, which contain materials from various other species before him.

Adam was later on put in an orbital biosphere orbiting the Earth.

Many attempts to pair Adam failed, since there's no one is compatible with him.

Adam was later on cloned, in the hope someone compatible with him can be cloned.

Adam and his clone later on achieved a knowledge they don't need, they were then sent own to Earth to make sure they can survive.

Adam's clone was modified to reproduce, Adam's clone then have descendants .

Adam's descendants then reproduce with each other, later on various other species before Adam also reproduce with Adam's descendants.

Not one word. It's all the creation of religions who are trying to sell a belief. If they were the first original people and everyone is part of their offspring we all should be Mongoloid. Should members of the same family produce children there is a genetic defect. The ignorant people who wrote the bible didn't know that. But now they are stuck with it as the word of God. It's a lie.
