Home-cooked (not the can or stock cube stuff) chicken soup is always good. Try to stick with simple, natural foods that aren't very heavy, like applesauce. Heavy, rich, and creamy foods will probably make her feel much worse. Pedialyte is a good idea, but make sure she gets plenty of water and liquids in general. I read somewhere that Gatorade will also keep you hydrated.

Room temperature 7up and some warm chicken noodle soup is what always worked for me.
At dinner time give her some warm milk with a sweetener in it.

soup, if it doesnt stay down its the easiest thing to come back up. Try ginger ale or 7 Up and whatever broth flavor you like. Also get some pedialyte just incase.

There is a really good diet for anyone with stomach problems... it is called a B. R. A. T. diet... The B is for Bananas... R is for Rice,
A is for Applesauce... and T is for Toast... Try it, it works for most people of all ages... I hope it helps... and yes, don't forget the liquids like juices, milk, water, broths, etc. Take care...
