via rationalization when you choose it - 7 youthful ones x 7 bags = 40 9 bags 40 9 bags x 7 cats = 343 cats 343 cats x 7 kittens = 2401 kittens 2401 kittens x 4 legs = 9604 legs 7 youthful ones x 2 legs = 14 legs 9604 legs + 14 legs = 9618 legs. If there is also a motive force there will be 9620 legs. that's assuming there isn't any-one else on the bus no longer reported and that all people are generic, that's that all of them have 2 legs. The 343 cats actually have 4 legs each and each and every, hence there will be one extra 1372 legs. a complete of 10990 legs with an same assumptions as above.
