God=energy=light. With the absense of light there is only darkness. If light=love, and you remove love, then this world would become cold, dark and evil instantaneously.
Seeing how evil it is here WITH love, I'd not want to be around if God removed His love!

I am not saying there is no God, but I would hope God would have faith in man to let us manage things on our own for awhile. We can't grow if God bails us out all the time. My idea of God would help us out sometimes but let us learn from our mistakes too.
Great question and I hope you are asking this question with an open mind to both sides of this debate.

I don't know about being abandoned by God at all...
But as far as managing things on our own, don't you think we've reached a point of even MISMANAGING our own environment and ourselves enough already??
Peace be with you.

This is not an abandonment issue.
Are you saying that the combined brain power or the combined spiritual power of billions of people is an ill-equipped combination of power?
Yea of Little faith.
Have faith in the human race....have faith in the creator that intended for us to succeed!
Choose to believe in yourself and your fellow man and the Creator's intention.

Then we would turn this world into HELL. Knowing that God has left us, we won't care about killing each other, humping our cousins and animals, I mean why not? We wouldn't have to pay for anything we did on earth. Satan would love it, he would kill and rape us for as long as we lived. There would be no hope, love, peace, nothing good would be left...only sinful man and the devil.

well if God abandoned us, it would literary be hell on earth. Just wait till the great tribulation. God will let Satan have alot more control then. I'm glad I won't be around for the great tribulation.

Nobody knows anything about God. You are assuming that God is "managing" us. If He is, we do not have free will and we are mere pawns in a big game. That may be possible, but I don't believe it.

You've got it backwards, we abandoned God and said we could manage. Bad idea.
