According to the bible and christianity, all us humans are sinful and are sorely in need of god's forgiveness and are unworthy of his grace. how can that be? I have committed no grave sin. for the most part, i live by the principle of doing no harm to others. I love my fellow man and believe in maintaining good will towards other human beings.
the bible lists things that are sins (adultry, greed, ......... etc) and i have to say, maybe i have at very few times in my life not completely been a perfect, PERFECT person, but i have done nothing where i would be in such a moral crisis that i would feel that i need the undeserved grace from god. Christians always talk like we are SO bad and that this is a mandate to believe in god's existence. Even if he is real, i have committed no harm or foul against god through free will to do "evil". I am a human being with a central nervous system and brain that contol my desires.

When I commit “sexual immorality,” it is not my soul that sins. My brain and central nervous system tell me that it would feel good; not a devil on my shoulder saying “go for it, man. This is way better that serving God.” When I am slightly selfish, it is not a cry from my soul “I love no one but myself.” It is my natural biological instinct to tend to think of my own welfare be the welfare of others. I have done no terrible sins in my life and the arbitrary things that could by some be called “sin,” they are all controlled by biological mechanisms in my brain and CNS. What have I done that I should feel pitiful and miserly for? I am human and act the way humans do. The way god created humans to act.

I could sympathize with you. I also try my best to be good. God doesn't want you to feel small or ashamed. If that happens, it's all part of the process to lead you to His mercy. Then you will feel free and clean! That's what God really desires is for you to know that joy. I can't emphasize this enough. GOD LOVES YOU. Be happy, my friend!

oh you dont understand.... regardless of HOW MUCH sin you commit..its the SINFUL NATURE you are being saved from!!!!
there is no child or infant that wont sin ONE DAY
so point is.. you will be given a NEW SINLESS nature INCAPABLE of even a THOUGHT of sin so you can be CLOSE to God and it will feel great!!!
God would even remove a sinful nature from an infant (not saying it sinned YET) so dont be confused on that!:)
you will have a new nature where ui wont veen ask such questions about guilt...because you WONT EVEN KNOW WHAT GUILT IS!!! it may just be some "concept" if knowing about it at all.....
you see.... you may not have "sinned much" BUT...also you will get old and DIE one day...if allowed to LIVE FOREVERRRRRRR the AMOUNT of sins would be too many to count....so when you have a SINLESS nature you can be allowed to live forever!!!!!!:)
sinful beings must die....chaos would result if not....... sinless beings can live forever...no problems!! :)

you say you haven't commited a grave sin. Sin is sin in God's eyes. All sin is against God. Man was born with a sinful nature since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. We all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God the bible says. God sent his only beggotton son Jesus to earth to live a sinless life and die on a cross to save our souls. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sins. Believe in Jesus with your heart and ask him to forgive you and save you, He will. God bless you.

If you have broken even one of the 10 Commandments then you are unclean. There is only one perfect person and that is Jesus Christ. Ever human on the face of the earth is a sinner. Seek God's forgiveness and repent. Any sin you commit dirtys your soul

It's hard to answer your question without you reading it and leaving with the feeling that you have been "preached to" but I'll try.
Yes, we are human and none of us are perfect - we all make mistakes, we all sin; yes, unfortunately it is human nature to be that way.
When Jesus went to the cross and shed his blood, He did it for you and for me and for all mankind. God in His infinite mercy gave us a way to be made righteous before Him but we have to accept that forgiveness by accepting His Son as Lord and Savior of our lives. He did so to wash us clean from that sinful nature but that doesn't mean that by accepting Jesus we can continue in our "old ways", that is what is meant by the rebirth. We still need to live in a repentant nature and if we mess up, ask Him to forgive us. He will.
Hope this gives you some idea of how to answer your question.

You say you love your fellow man. How is that possible? You are greedy by nature, everyone is. How did you learn to love strangers and enemies? Your natural reaction to Hate any and all opposition is that which leads to War. This is the Human way; otherwise there would be no War. You say that you were once a Christian. What proof of that is there?

God requires perfection. All humans fall short of that. Period. You can be good and not be perfect. That's why God sent Jesus to die on the cross for you and me. If you believe w/ all your heart that Jesus can take away all of your sins and ask Him to and dedicate your life to Him, then you can get to Heaven. If you decide to do this, contact a local church and they'll get you hooked up. Peace, bro.
