Take her to a vet. She could have an allergy or parasites.

If she's licking and biting at her fur until it bleeds, it might be an allergy. Some cats become allergic to fleas and will have a bad reaction even if there's only one or two fleas on them. Fleas often live around the base of the tail.

Take her to the vet and get her checked out. Sounds like she needs some medical attention to get this cleared up.

Even your vet wouldn't attempt to do a diagnosis from a description; they need to see the dog and do tests. And we're not vets! She needs tests to figure out what the problem is, and then she needs the right treatment. Its illegal for anyone other than a vet to diagnose an illness in an animal, or prescribe treatment. The reason is its too easy for well meaning people to get it wrong. Its useless using flea shampoo if its a thyroid problem. Please, take her to see the vet as soon as possible, this is probably treatable but it sounds like it has been going on for a while. And some diseases are transmissible to people.

She could have allergies or diabetes. The pink fur could be from a skin allergy--she's licking and chewing causing skin irritation, which can cause some superficial bleeding. But the entire thing, with the weight loss could be diabetes.

she probably has a parasite, you may have the same one. Just use a plastic syringe to squirt diluted olive leaf extract down the side of her mouth. Put olive leaves or parsley in her drinking water. Other good products are natures sunshine chinese cleanse or vita klenz.
I love cats too, but since I dont have them any more our health has improved, plus we all took the anti parasite herbs as above
