Gen.1:1,2; What is being show here?
It goes to day six in first chapter.
Gen.2:2.4 [ All the days spoken of is one day, so day is age, ages, eons or eras in time ];
Heb.4:1-12 [ We are still in day seven ];
When did the world [ not the earth, the earth was in preparation for thousands of years, for habitation and was inhabited by animals on day 5, different than animals on day six and man for the world ] began last of everything else and when?
When did Satan began, how much time does Satan have in the world [ not the earth ],
if Satan had 6,130 years from Eden, to Rev.20:1-6 [ No Satan ]; and Jesus had 1000 years to make al LOST at Eden to be SAVED and Perfect, how many years belong to day seven?
ALL MADE NEW, DOES THAT MEAN HEAVENS, EARTH AND WORLD?
How many world Empires belong to day seven?
What comes after Day seven?
WHEN TIME FOR DAY SEVEN IS KNOW, WHICH IS ALL THAT IS THE SUBJECT AND IS ALL THAT IS ANY BODIES BUSINESS, [ THE REST IS SCIENCE AND THAT IS GUESS AT THE VERY BEST 2Tim.6:20 oppositions of science falsely so called, Daniel was good understanding science Dan.1:4; this is 1804 after the flood, and 606 years before Christ ], SO THAT PART THAT IS MADE THE BUSINESS OF A PERSON IF THAT PERSON HAS THE INTELLIGENCE TO FIGURE OUT DAY SEVEN TIME GIVEN THEN THAT IS TIMES ALL SEVEN DAYS FOR THE TIME.

How long a day is depends on who you ask. Ask a child on Christmas eve how long a day is when he is waiting for Christmas to open his presents.
Ask a person who is waiting for news of a loved one having major surgery.
God could have created the entire universe in a moment but HE chose to do it the way He did...in six days and much of that is to show us an example. He sure did not need to rest on the 7th day but it was to show us that we needed a day of rest each week.
In reality, time has no meaning in eternity.
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day
I think too many people are hung up on unimportant issues while they forget the most important things. They major in the minors.
I would rather spend time with the important things such as how can we be sure we will spend eternity with GOD?

It says He rested on the 7th day but there is no mention of the 8th day. That's because this is still day 7. That's how long the days are. On the 8th day He will create again. This time a new Heaven and new Earth.

I don't take the Genesis thing literally: but if someone does..You might take note that the Sun (you know that thing by which we measure days based on it's rising), wasn't created until the 3rd "day" so them first ones could have been of any length.. and I didn't read anything there about a rotating earth???

A day to us is 24 hours. God is eternal. God has the power to do anything. He could do something to earth in a second, and our machines would say 1,000,000,000 years went by.
In eternity I think 1000 years will seem like a day.
