Being single sucks. Finding someone you share your life with is the best. Not always a bowl full of cherries but having some there for you is great. It takes a lot more maturity to be married and you need to be fully commit ed but over all, there's really no comparison.

I think it depends on your age....I have been happily married and now am single and in my 40's. SINGLE sucks...for me. I like the comfort , security and interdependence of a coupledom. We are not meant to journey life solo I believe. Commitment, trust and the ultimate in intimacy is best accomplished in a special long term relationship that singlehood cannot attain.
Now, if I were in my 20's my answer may be different. For most of my adult life though, being in a commited relationship is my preference. Non-commital people or those who struggle with intimacy issues may feel otherwise.

That's easy.
If your single and unhappy, you can change that by dating until you find Mr. Right or Ms. right. There is a huge light at the end of the tunnel.

However, if you are married and unhappy with your marriage, you are often trapped and can do little, most of the time, to change that situation.

It's a lot harder to bounce back if you're married.
Yes. I'd have to say, being married can REALLY suck.
Life truly is easier when you're single. Atleast when you're young.
It's easier to find a mate.

When you're older, all the good ones are taken.

Being single. I'm married right now and even when we have arguments (rarely) i'd take that over being single anyday. He takes care of me, gives me money, gives me things, takes care of our kids, buys me houses, cars, stuff...couldn't do that on my own while raising my son and now expecting twins early next year.

I guess what i mean is if you have kids, being married is the best---i couldn't imagine being a single parent.

But of course if i didn't have kids, i might prefer being single because of the freedom. But i wouldn't want to be single and sexually active with how many diseases are out there now.

The key is: stay hot and sexy and you'll never be unhappy.

thats a dumb question

why would you get married if you knew it would suck?
people who think marriage sucks are the types that get divorced like 3 times and never stick with it. these people make me sick.

obviously being able to fool around when you are single is good, but finding love in marriage is definately better.

being single can be a major let down especially after being married and seeing what I had compared to now.I wasnt the one who filed. But the pain still is there when you drive past what you once had. Reminds you of several songs that open up old wounds.
so if your married ,pls remain married and work things out to keep it that way.

both suck....being single means you don't have someone u can share your life with besides friends and family....being married sucks because u live your life around this person, basically. if you're used to being single, congratulations!!!

I would have to say being married, simply because there is little chance of escape, whereas if your single, you could meet the love of your life tomorrow.
