Why do protestants and catholics fight? We are both brothers and sisters through Christ, and we both generally believe in the same thing, we should be fighting the evil in the world not ourselves. Please lets put our differences aside and act like Jesus taught us to, how can we help others when we can't even help ourselves? All I am asking is for peace and love between protestants and catholics, we're both christians, so why should we fight?

Because many believe but are not converted. Conversion is a processs, however we are commanded to have no division among us. 1 Corinthians 1:10 The denominational church system is in scripture called the outer court, Rev. 4:1-2 and is not measured. Denomination means division. The reason for division is that most professing Christians do not believe or understand pure doctrine and that there still is a remnant that know the truth and are in one accord. This is the body of Christ. God is calling his people out of the outer court unto repentance. Those who do not repent will not be saved. God saves us out of our sins, not in them, the spirit of antichrist is in the outer court churches.

Are you talking about Christians or denominations? Christians don't put aside their differences for the sake of unity with a denomination. We're believers in the Lord Jesus Christ...not Baptists, Pentecostal, Catholic, and on and on ad infinitum. As long as the devil has believers believing that it's ok to be divided into denominations there will be confusion and turmoil. The bible says "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sin..." The "her" is Babylon, the false religious system that encompasses all antichrist religion, which includes denominations.

This isn't a merely highbrow activity. Your ideals have penalties. Religious ideals even in these days inflict untold distress. The Catholic Church for instance, telling HIV optimistic Africans that condoms are of the satan. This is genocide through proxy. Religion is not handiest lack of knowledge it is mass myth and it is mass myth with a frame rely in the back of it. Let's take a fairly much less unsafe however toward dwelling instance. Gay marriage. Not at the equal par with what the Catholic missionaries in Africa are doing I'll furnish you, however you're utilizing your faith as license to disclaim humans their rights. That is all faith has ever performed. Religion is not just factually mistaken, that is intent ample to argue in opposition to it, it is now not morally tenable to position up with it.

we all fight because we think we are right and presume that the other person is always wrong. We rarely stop to think of any matter from the point of view of the other person. If we did that perhaps we would find no reason to fight. Yes, christians do fight , so do muslims and the hindus. It's foolish and meaningless. Lets practice believe live and let live.

Everyone fights with the Catholics! But you're right, we should put our differences aside! But then again, that's why they call it 'sibling rivalry'...always trying to outdo the other!

The thing is, a lot of Christians prioritize the wrong things. It's good that you've come up to this belief.

Really, Christians shouldn't fight anyone...its the "love your neighbor as yourself" thing, but, unfortunantly, humans tend to be very prideful and always believe that they are right and no one else. "Pride of life" is the answer. It is a sin. Humans tend to sin, so, it happens...
