So I'm addicted to orange juice, mainly for full pulp tropicana but most anything will do. I drink about a half gallon every couple days. I had this addiction last year for a bit, theres just something about OJ that gets at me. Any thoughts?

Craving for sugar. One of the reasons is chromium deficiency.

Chromium deficiency has been associated with sugar cravings, sugar then depletes you body's supplies of chromium even further. When you eat sweets, you just want to eat more of everything.

Craving Orange Juice

Maybe you have some sort of vitamin c deficiency... or you're just so used to drinking it that your body expects it, therefore craves it. Maybe you should just eat an orange, though... that much o.j isn't good for you.. too much sugar going to your blood too fast.

Sometimes cravings are caused by a nutrient deficiency. Maybe your body just needs vitamin C. Don't worry about it, OJ won't hurt you.

your body is telling you that you lack certain vitamins, so it craves the vitamin needed.

Pregnent women go through this, they crave food and other things often, their body is telling them they need more of a certain vitamin, iron, etc.

It won't hurt you to drink so much Orange juice, so I wouldn't worry about it. It's good you are listening to your body.

You either are addicted to the sugar or your body really need Vitamin C. It's quite a healthy addiction.
