My three dogs all do that too. I think it is part of the nature of dogs. I love dogs, they are so adorable exspecially that tilted head part. =]

I believe it means that they are trying to figure out what you are saying. My dogs do it when I talk to them and it's not something that they know like outside, bed, eat, no etc...

Your dog is very in tune to what you are saying, but also the tone of your voice makes the difference.

Possibly because he doesnt really understand you and is wondering what you are saying? Not the greatest anwser but its works. Hehe

He is trying to imitate your, or other humans actions. Conversation is not an art for canines.

he thinks your nuts. no really he is tring to pick up on a word he understands to be rewarding. he's wants to hear what ever word that he tune into.[want to go bye-bye. want a yum-yum etc.]
