Is the GT Avalanche 3.0 any good?

I currently have a Trek 3900 that's a tad large for me so I'm selling it and looking for a new option. How is the GT 3.0 and just GTs in general?

Their a tad over to the heavy side but their frames are real solid. Trashed mine with rock trails and 3 feet drops and mine is still going strong

But the stock parts are kind of crappy , replace the fork if you got the money

Gt is a very good brand. The Avalanche 3.0 is well worth considering. But, do size it up carefully, because not all bikes are alike when it comes to specified size.
