im in love with a good friend whos dad recently died last year, ive known him since we were kids, he even liked me for awhile but i never did like him until last year when his dad died...i started to love him, now i tell him that everyday but he never says nothing back. we talk on the phone for hours go out and laugh at everything and sometimes says little comments that makes me think he likes me, just recently i told him how i was talking to a guy friend of mine and he got really mad he said he needed time to think. weve had little fights where i tell him i dont want to be friends with him because thats the only way ill stop liking him but he insists we still be friends because he loves how i am. I'm so confused I know he likes me i see it in his eyes he looks straight at me, or once we kissed and i knew he liked it, his eyes got all googly yet he tells me he we should just be friends. everytime i tell him i love him he says im lying and that i dont mean it.

Stop telling him you love him it only chases the chaps away LOL!!! Go out and have fun with others male and female ( and by fun I mean open clean fun ). This friend of yours in the mean time still remain friends with him and if he asks where you have been and what has been happening you tell him straight that you do have plenty friends and you would like him to hang out with them as well, but it seems as if ... and give a good reason for not seeing him too much - it may just work and he'll come round to you, you'll see!!!

He must really be close.
Anyway, friends always were afraid of the feeling of "Getting left behind" which means basically they will still try to stick to you even if you don't want them around anymore.
This is a different case though, I'm guessing he just wants to be a close friend, but he doesn't want competition from other dudes.

just continue talking about other guys to make him really jealous. then you will see what he's made of. tell him also why he's jealous since you're only friends. he should be happy.
if he really loves you and wants you, he'll stop you from talking about other guys and actually court you himself. or admit that he really loves you and would want him to be the only man in your life.
come on use some of your girl charm. girls are good at reverse psychology.

I have done this myself I think he is just afraid to lose you as a friend so he doesnt want to make it complicated dont try so hard but he will brake down eventually

Sounds to me like he wants you close, but doesn't want to take it to the dating step, and doesnt want you dating anyone else either. If you are in love with him, you need to let him know, and if he doesnt' feel the same way, you need to move on.
