I land at JFK at terminal 4, but then right after I have to catch another plane at terminal 6, is it far away? do i have to move in shuttle or can I walk? please give me specific info!!

You will need to take a shuttle, because they aren't very close to each other. You can see a terminal map at the link below.

You could walk, but that would take a while, so take the shuttle. The shuttle, AirTrain, goes to all terminals, and is nice and fast. You can't miss it.
However, depending on how long you have to get there, you should try to hurry. Terminal 6 (JetBlue) only has two security lines, so it always takes a while to get through security, even in the early morning!
Since Terminal 5 is still closed, it's only one stop on the AirTrain, so you should do that. It's free.

Yea I have been there myself I would take a shuttle its a long walk
