No, it's impossible if you are eating wholefood. If you just have protein and water for one day, it's OK for your body. Don't know your motive. The ONLY WAY I know at this moment (to eat protein alone) is to have:

Zero carb whey protein isolate drink. But I don't see the need for that.

>100% Whey Protein Isolate
>Microfraction Selection Technology
>Great Tasting Flavor
>Zero Carbohydrates
>Zero Sugar
>Zero Fat
>Zero Aspartame or Acesulfame K
>Zero Corn Syrup Solids or Hydrogenated Oils
>Zero Fat-Promoting High Glycemic Index Maltodextrins
>Zero Caseinate, Ion Exchange or Other Old-School Proteins
>Zero Estrogen Promoting Inferior Soy Proteins
>Zero Lactose - Generally Safe for Most People with Milk Allergies

If you really need to take fresh wholefood, try eggwhite, 91% protein, 3% fat and 6% carbo. I eat a lot of them.

But then you would be going about it all wrong if you didn't eat any carbs or fat!!

Carbohydrates are not the "bad" guys as most fashion diets set it out to be (example: The Atkins Diet which completely elimates any carbs and replacing it with meats, proteins...). Carbs are actually the fuel for your body. Okay - so in a nutshell, there are three kinds of carbs: simple, complex and indigestable. Simple carbs (Sugar, syrup, candy, honey, jams, jelly, molasses, and soft drinks) seem to be the culprit of excess weight, and it almost seems basic knowledge to cut these items out of your diet if your going for weight loss anyways.

And fats can be just as good for you - and like carbs, there are the good and bad ones. Good fats can be found in food such as fish. These "good fats" will make your nails strong, your hair shiny and your skin beautiful. Bad fats are found in almost everything from oily french fries and potato chips.

If youre looking to lose weight, I recommend tracking your calories and signing up for a gym (and sticking with it!). I try to keep mine at no more than 1200 calories per day. Watching your calorie intake really opens your eyes at the things you once thought were healthy (I ordered an Arby's wrap one day and couldn't believe it had over 800 calories! Thats almost my whole intake for the day right in that turkey bacon wrap!)

I also recommend sparkpeople.com. Awesome site for managing weight / losing weight.

Good luck!

P.S. 1 cup of lettuce has 10 calories. Thats not including any other vegetables, cheese, dressing or croutons. It depends on what you put on top of it to determine how good or bad of a choice your making.

i've got been a vegetarian for 4 + years and that i'm nevertheless kickin'. by using vegetarian, I advise that i do no longer eat any style of meat in any respect. although, I do nevertheless eat cheese, use butter and milk (and eggs if i myself would desire to) collectively as cooking. I eat ice cream. i will eat at just about any eating place around and discover good ingredients contained in the food market with out meat. maximum folk provide me no situation if i opt for no chicken in my Taco Bell Border Bowl or take off the Beaverbrook on my cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. it incredibly is common to hit upon meatless ingredients because of the fact we've a super type of strategies available. As for a strict vegan foodstuff plan (no meat, diary, animal byproducts in any respect), of direction it incredibly is achieveable, yet in our lifestyle and society immediately it could be very annoying to have a *prevalent* style existence-type, like eating out in eating places, frozen dinners (although i think of there are some vegan strategies available, like Amy's), etc. Even widely used snack ingredients or different processed ingredients could be out of attain for a vegan because of the fact many stuff are made with hydrogenated this or that which I comprehend comes from animal byproducts. you will would desire to envision labels very intently.

yes, but then your muscles would be massively deprived because that is where all of ur energy would come from. carbs provide basic energy and are burned first. then muscle. then fat.
