My dad cancelled my trip to cancun and merida. Why? because I had an serious argument with him. recently he had been using my little sister as a comparison of who I should be. He had been blaming every faults on me even if my sister starts the argument. I think this is very unfair? what do you think?

I know exactly how you feel but I think you are way better than me because I have an annoying, unbearable, mean (the worst adjectives used) step dad and I have to stay with him because of my mom. I hate him sooooo much and so I think you are really lucky. Sometimes even if it isn't your fault you should try to make peace because that's what's best for you. I have tried to prove my points but what I have seen is that whenever I stop arguing and don't try to prove my innocence (and be quiet), somewhere in their hearts my folks feel guilty and allow me for some things.

Honey at some stage in life we all start to question our parents motives or decisions because we grow up and are taught all sorts of new things at school or other places just give your parents some repect as they have brought you into this world housed and fed you until you are old enough to look after yourself .Try to learn how to negotiate with them get a book from any library on this subject .Negotiation skills will help you right through your life it is not a waste of time.

If it was HIS money that was paying for the trip he had every right to cancel. I suggest you get out, get a job and pay for your own trip to Cancun.

i think that parents are not always right but they try to do the best that they can . i think that you shouls go to dad and say that you would really like to talk to him and tell him what is on your mind he would probily like that
