The only way it's possibly "wrong" is if your ex husband is what's called a chimera. A chimera is a person who was the product of two fused embryos.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_(genetics)
There's a Wikipedia article on it. All the cases I know of have been women, where they had one set of DNA circulating in their bloodstream, and another set forming the eggs in their ovaries. It stands to reason that perhaps a man could also be, with the second set of DNA being replicated by the sperm in his testicles. So the sperm's DNA would have formed your son ... while the blood or cells they used for the test contained the other set.
Ask for more clarification on the test results. Does it show that your ex was CLOSE to the father? If the percentage match is a certain level, they can say "oh, it was a brother or father of this person". If that's the case, he might really be a chimera. It's usually not detected until things like this happen. Both of those women in the Wikipedia article found out when they had to take DNA tests after divorces and such.
Here's more.

Chimerism is VERY RARE. But if your OB was absolutely POSITIVE of your due date, and there is NO other explanation (such as being with someone else but using a condom and thinking it hadn't broken, using the pull-out method with the milkman, etc), look into this.
I hope this helps you in some way. I don't know what you would have to do ... maybe they could test the DNA in a sample of his sperm to compare? It will be an uphill battle for you now, though. Any judge would think you are lying. You will have to find a lawyer willing to present LOTS of evidence about chimerism and maybe even get a doctor to testify.
Good luck. I hope there is a simpler explanation, like human error. Sometimes (heaven forbid) samples get mixed up. Ask for another to confirm, at the very least, so long as you are sure. Even then your lawyer will have to argue very hard that it's happened before (and it has ... Google "human error DNA test").

Hi fellow Kentuckian,
I have never heard of a DNA test being wrong. Which it could happen only by human error in the lab.
Estimated date of conception: Friday, April 24, 1998
End of 1st trimester (12 weeks): Friday, July 3, 1998
End of 2nd trimester (27 weeks): Friday, October 16, 1998
Estimated Due Date: January 15, 1999
I done the above at http://www.mybirthcare.com/calculator
I would demand a new dna test. Go through court if you have to so you can get another one done.
I wish you luck.

Paternity tests are right most of the time but there has been cases where the mother of the baby has been tested and the test had proven that she was not the babies mom but she really was. So with that said they are not always right and they can make a mistake

it could be wrong but your son is 7 years old and b/c you have had one done already you may have waited too long already to have a second test done. obviously they can do it, but your ex husband would have to agree to it by now, i don't think legally where he was told once "its not your kid" they can force him to take a second "just to be sure" test. You definatly need to also have this june man tested at the same time though, otherwise i think it is highly unlikely your ex will agree.
good luck
