Men, do you think women sometime overeact to an emotional situation so you just plain out lie to them to advoid the situation all togther.

Bamma say he lie to woman so he doesn't have to buy i'm sorry gift. Bamma say females very sneaky. Bamma say they pout and give dirty look when nothing wrong at all. Bamma say they trick you into feeling guilty. Bamma say he spent fortune on jewelry. Bamma say they whipped him into shape. Bamma just lie now. Bamma recommend this to all men. OK I read some of the answers and I am a man. In a serious relationship or marriage I have no reason to lie about something. However, It is very important to tell the truth with the right timing, like I said I have been married. And twice to the same woman if I was such a liar I don't think we would have married twice and still remain good friends to this day. And no number three to her isn't an option. And this is the truth!

Does the sun rise everyday? Are their lips moving? I am not a man but I have out of necessity studied this very question.
Men are first little boys and continually seek moms praise and avoid making their mommy mad. Most discover very young mommy will instantly stop being mad if they tell her something flattering about her = avoidance. Some learn they can lie to mommy and get away with it by turning on that sweet angelic face. They share this learned information with all their male friends and as they get older they know mommy is a woman = transference. Any woman is game to be lied to if the lie will get them their way.
This is not a bash...it's a fact.

Some women (or men) intentionally overreact to an emotional situation in order to manipulate or control the other person. Mostly when people overreact, it's intentional.
Overreacting is concocting a situation in order to manipulate and control the other person. Lying shouldn't be the way to avoid it - it's a way to reinforce the manipulation and controlling. Tell the truth and if they do overreact, call them on it!
Almost 100% of the time, what you think is overreacting, is absolutely overreacting, and a girl or a guy needs to be called on it because they're not being honest with you.

YES, that is the absolute worse situation to be in because something small to everyone was big to her! In order to avoid conflict I would paint another picture...way to much stress. I know some may say he; a joker but...talking to female coworkers was a major issue as well as any female. So I would leave details out so I would not hve to hear all of the stuff.

are you kidding? Do leaves drop from trees in the fall? Do stars shine? Yes, men MUST tell a dozen white lies per day just to keep their relation in tact. And I have nothing of importance to hide. I'm faithful, I do the chores, I provide the money, but believe me, I still have to lie like mad to keep things on good terms.
Do men ever lie to women.....ha ha ha. That's a good one.

Hahahahaha....quite a lot actually. Women are more comfortable listening to pleasant lies than unpleasant truths. And if she happens to be too fussy, what better than a well thought out lie to wriggle out of a tricky situation?

I am so glad that I haven't dated any of the men that gave you answers. One lie needs to be covered up by another lie and so on and so forth with all these lies is your relationship really worth it, When will guys STOP and use their brains for a change? The problems with relationships is that they are all built on lies and then when the crunch comes and these folks marry their marriages don't last long - now I know why divorce rates are so high!!!

Of course men do!!!! And if your a woman and dont know that, I feel really sorry for you., cause your momma didnt teach you anything. I knew that at around 14 lololol. Shoot i have asked hubby how an outfit looked on me, and before anything came out of his mouth, I told him if you were smart you would lie. And he said fine you look awful!!! SEEEEE smart guy!!!!

I'm a girl don't shoot b4 u hear me lol. But I think that most girls over react on some of the stupidest stuff so guys assume all girls r like that so they lie to make sure the realtionship doesn't crash. So yeah of course they do lol. But we can't blame 'em @ all.
