In a romantic restaurant, preferably one of the Italian type with curtains you can pull to be private in your booth, candle light on the table, have the waiter bring two glasses and a chilled bottle of champagne, and arrange beforehand- to have him close the curtain after you get down on one knee,in the restaurant and open a ring box holding an engagement ring and propose marriage to your love! The whole restaurant will cheer! Then you will be secluded behind the curtains. Do it!

Take her out for a romantic dinner in a very nice place bring her a rose and have a nice ring in your pocket. Have a drink or two and then tell her you love her and ask her to marry you, if she says yes take the ring out and put on her finger and give her a nice soft kiss. This is the way I would do it and you need some advice from the lovely ladies on this site.

Use your immagination ie a ring at the bottom of a fruit salad or milk shake, prepare a meal in a secluded place whilst her friends keep her buzy and put the questions around the setting in flowers or paint it on her bedroom window and when she open sthe curtains in the morning there is the question. Use the nog of yours lol!! and enjoy

Not knowing your budget or history I'll give you one Idea...
Mix it up.... 1 Day send her 12 Different colored Roses with a Note With your hand writen words.. Use a phrase you like or your own words...
Like... "Just because its You and Its today"
3rd day (skip 2nd day) 12 RED ROSES
Card : Put your own words here....
5th Day or 7th day Plan a simple dinner for 2 somewhere you both like to go... Do something odd like something you both normally don't do after dinner... If you don't walk,,, take a walk,,, Take a drive to the Highest point in town and look down over the town... Something... Different....
I can come up with other ideas but this should be enought with what other advise you on... Be Different let her understand How important she is to you....

Depends on what your girlfriend likes.
The most classic way is at dinner. You can have them bring out the ring with dessert.
Other ways, set up a romantic picnic.
Wrap up her ring as a christmas present and give it to her on christmas morning
take a long romantic walk at night someplace pretty - beach, park, waterfront... and propose there,
make sure you get on one knee and tell her you love her.

Buy a private plane with a banner that says, Marry me ____________ ! Or if she likes word games, propose in Scrabble. Or give her a glass of wine and put the ring at the bottom. (But the last one might make her choke.)

MY FAVORITE WAY HAS BEEN WHILE SEEING CHRISTMAS LIGHT 2 MILE LONG, WHILE SHE TOOK VIDEO, I TOLD HER TO TAKE VIDEO OF THIS AND SHE SAW THE RING WITH THE CAMERA AND CRIED. I TOOK IT OUT AND ASKED PROPOSED IN A NICE LITTLE POEM WAY AND SHE SAID YES AND NEAR BY FIREWORKS WENT BY AND IT WAS EXTRA SPECIAL.
FIND WHICH WAY IS THE BEST WAY TO CATCH HER OFF GUARD. THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DO THINGS !!!!!!!!!!!

pick out a ring first (most jewelers will let you return if things dont work out) then let your imagination go....romantic restaurant, on a hilltop, on the edge of a wharf, on the bow of a cruiser...whatever-
I propose in front of her family and friends...that meant a lot to her to this day. Best of luck
(BTW, after she says yes, step back and watch her morph into bridezilla....they all go through it and they all turn back to their old selves afterwards)

take her to a restaurant a nice one. not letting on to anything. when done with dinner get down on one knee and pop out the ring and ask her. my husband done that when he proposed to me the 2nd time after being married 15 yrs and i will never forget it. it was the most romantic thing he done and believe me he had done plenty but that one really sticks to my mind. was wonderful even people at tables beside us was crying. :) try not to do it on a holiday she may expect it. you want to do it when she least expects it. :)

Take her to the cinema, the day the movie is released (so lots of people.) Organise something with the cinema, and ask them to make an add saying "I love you.......Will you marry me?"
It actually happened when I saw a movie and this add (commercial) came up on the screen. (The cinema people just make it from their computers. And the guy got on one knee and she said "Yes". SO SWEET : )
