I used it when I was a teenager and it seemed to do the trick, but you have to use a paste toothpaste (white), not a gel. It also doesn't bleach anything out if it should get on it (i.e., your pillow case) like some of the acne treatments.

No toothpaste doesnt make your pimpies go away, but when you keep toothpaste on the pimps it helps dry them out faster.... When I have a pimple that is bad, I usually put toothpaste on it for about 10 minutes, then wash it off, and something in the toothpaste helps them dry up faster than normal.....

It does helps to dry out pimples, esp huge and red ones.

But don't use the whitening/gel type. Any original toothpaste should do the trick.

But if you're worried about leaving toothpaste on your face the whole night, try using on problem spots around 15mins then wash it off with tepid water.

It does help in the process, but an old remedy is putting honey on the pimple overnight with a band-aid over will help draw out the pimple and heal faster.

it is a myth. you are better off crushing up an aspirin and making a paste with water. the salsylic acid will help the blemish. toothpaste these days has too many additives for whitening etc.

i really dont know, but if it doesnt work & you want to dry out your pimple put a little bit of rubbing alcohol on it.
i use proactive & it works great!! if you have the money then i reccomend it! it can be a little pricey. my sisters dermatologist said that it works on some people but on others it just makes them brake out more. it depends on how tough your skin is!

makes the pimple dry up faster. if it's really big and red though, try visine eye drop before going out. will make the redness subside.
