I have seenvista already and I have to say there really isn't anything this mind blowing about it, the only kool thing about it is that it look pretty and all with it's lay out but besides that it's kind of like XP, just a few added things to it. I don't think there will be a big rage with people switching to Vista, XP works good enough. Though I do plan on getting Vista when is come out since I get it at a discount so why not. ^_^

No. They're both Microsoft products. :)

But seriously the experts seem to feel that the patches made to XP and Explorer over the past year or two have done virtually the same thing that Vista will do. So maybe XP stops 95.7% of the attacks where Vista will stop 95.9%. The other thing is that Vista appears to be more of a space/memory hog.

The real tests won't know for a few more months as more businesses and consumers start using it. I'd probably wait at least 6 months to a year for initial reports anyway.

abvously Vista is better than Xp , but like any software you should wait until microsoft correct the bugs of this program . and there's bad news on the price of Vista . the main feature of Vista is the new user interface of this OS. and you should know that VIsta needs high hardware like a 2GB RAM !!!

as the first guy said, you should have better system to run vista

that means you should have atleast

2.4 ghz processor

1 gb of ram

and most important thing is you should have nVidia(least FX 5500) or ati cards(least 9500) to run the graphics smoothly

and it installs about 9 gb.

totally it is a good package,

1. got parental control

2. it got windows defender ( anti virus build) and better firewall

3. Directx 10

4. IE 7

5. and built on a good platfrom.

Vista does have more useful features, and better security than XP. And it looks prettier too.
