when a question is asked in here,why do people have to be rude when answering the question

I totally agree with you!!!!!!!!! Some people do not care about the content of your question, they just answer to get 2 points, that is selfish and rude. It is really inconsiderate when people treat your question as if it means nothing. There is no need for insults! People are entitled to their opinion, and we dont always have agree; but you can agree to disagree; or put your point across in a courteous way. Ignore those who have no consideration for your feelings, they are not worth it!!! Value the people who take time to give you an honest and genuine answer. I cant understand those who are so impolite.....MANNERS COST NOTHING!!!!!!!

Maybe there are people on this site who just think it is a joke or a game.
That is fine by me, but being rude is well out of order.
Anyone who considers the site as entertainment, should only answer questions for fun, and pick out questions as such to answer.
There are serious questions on here, from people who need help and reassurance. A rude or impolite answer does no help at all.
If I see a question that I can answer honestly, then I will do so, not for the points, just to help someone.
For me, helping is better than getting points.
Some of the questions on here can be somewhat dodgy, but I just leave them alone, and move on to another.
There is no excuse for not being polite. I assure you and others that I will always give polite and honest answers, lets hope everyone else does the same.

Having the power to be rude must be the only thing that kind of people have to make themselves feel important.
In reality all they come across as being are the great Gits they are!
Of course, they are so tough here, but I can't help wondering how many would cringe before being rude to someone in person. They are probably simpering idiots then, afraid of a thrashing.

I think it depends on what Q has been asked. I am sarcastic or rude when the Q is not really relevent to anything...........it makes light of the whole thing. However, if the Q is a serious one then i will give a serious answer. You should try and do the same as it becomes more fun as you go along.
And btw i have impeccable manners as do my children.

Be it on the internet, public transport or anywhere.... there will always be inconsiderate people that get something out of being abusive or just rude!
Comes down to intelligence at the end of the day !
Replying to them or attempting to confront it only makes them feel more important !
You know the old saying... Ignore something long enough and it will go away ;) Have a good day.

Not all people are rude all of the time. Some questions truly deserve a rude awakening to the ASKER. Other people are venting in rude answers, or just playing games. It's a public forum, anyone trying to SET RULES is going to be disappointed.
Any member setting their own standards in Q&A is risking a blasting, and it is deserved. I'll be nice to you this time, and be polite, but watch out......LOL

hi there. how are you? I think it's because we spend our lives being nice to people, in the home/the office etc and we can never really say what we think. On here, everyone is anonymous and for some people, this is their only way of breaking free from that. We, however, of superior emotional intellengce, can cope with it. Have a lovely christmas! x

in know way do i mean this to be rude but mankind as a hole isn't very kind weather its to one another,animals,planet,space ext each of us thinks we own are own space and sat on the other end of a cable makes it just that little bit easier to poke fun at genuine thought, although people do it without the cable and without words which just explains really why we are a world at war

Perhaps you meant to ask how to write a question that would generate intelligent debate?
