To understand what is truly in your heart, it takes everything you've got. Every emotion you've ever felt towards anyone is there, waiting to be found. And unfortunately, and more often than not, it takes losing someone to truly understand who you felt and still feel about that person.

Are you happy in a relationship
And are you knowing of a devine power and accepting that fact to be true. Then That is in my opinion understanding your heart.

It's love. To understand love you must give attention to yourself. Watch your desires and fears. Watch your actions and results. Actions that lessons suffering will help you understand your heart. Suffering of others and yourself. Until all fears and desires cease and only love in action remains.
