Have you heard about this catholic church that fostered an epidemic (their word) of pedophilia? Many of the church leaders were aware of the criminal priests under their jurisdiction but decided to do little or nothing, so as not to embarrass the church. Guess they weren't thinking about the victims. And now the catholics worry that the lawsuits could bankrupt the church. Guess they still aren't thinking about the victims.
Could you please remind them of the rich man, the camel, and the eye of the needle? I'm sure you agree with me that the vatican too, should sell everything and give it to the poor, or the pedophile victims.
And then I heard today that some catholic priests and nuns in Rwanda were guilty of participating in the genocide against the Tutsi. Some of the Tutsi went to the church for protection, but the catholic priest advised the murderers on how best to destroy his church with bulldozers so that the murderers could kill all the "cockroaches" (his word) within.
