Lost the packaging to my universal remote control.?

Found the codes on the Internet but do not know the programming steps. Suggestions?

Go to the store where you purchased it and look at the steps on one that is in stock.

The programming should be the same as mine. Here are the steps for mine.. I hope they can help you.

1. turn on the device that you are programming. VCR, DVD, TV ect.
2.On your remote control press the button of the device.
3.press the set light and hold it until the red light on your remote blinks twice.
4.Then put in the code of the device.
5.The red light should blink two more time when the code is put in.
6.Aim remoter at the device and hit the power button.

If it turns off then you did it right. If that does not work here are a few other steps.

1.if the red light does not flash at all just hold the botton for about three second on step 3.

2. if you have more that one code you might have to go through and find the right one. just keep going through them until it finally works.

they have just about everything there including manuals for remotes - difficult site to navigate but have found what I needed.

What brand and model of remote control ? that might help us find you an answer - you might find that info under the battery cover

You should go to the website of the manufacturer, click on support, then find manuals. Or you can find your exact remote on that site, click on it and find either the manual or support for it. Usually the manual will be in PDF format.

If you can't find it, tell me the model number and the name of the company that made it and I'll find it for you.
