One person pitches a fit, so everyone else has to suffer.....I mean like little kids proforming a xmas play, yet someone of a different religion, "oh no....that is not appropriate"....I mean c'mon....I am not catholic....I am a jew, and my kids did xmas plays in school, I did not get all bent out of shape...like some sacriligious event was happening....They are kids, they aren't going to be converted...It is just a play...I don't understand why some people have to get an attorney, cause "their rights..." what a crock of crap....People are too way uptight, to me, and just can't let kids be kids..got to get the "Politics" involved and I just think it is stupid....we have SO much bad stuff in the world, and little kids are told "no, you can't sing the song from the Charlie Brown Chrismas, cause' someone may be offended..."....I find that to be rediculous!!!!! and such a waste of time....Put that effort into changing something for the good...not stupid crap!!!!....Just my thoughts.........

I agree with you ..completly..
the problem is, our country is now more worried about what is "politically correct" and who is going to sue whom....
30 years ago, evn 20..we did not have this problem..
too many people with extreme liberal ways, with too much money and time on their hands..and too many lawyers looking to cash in on everything..
Our country is going downhill faster than ever...

As a non christian who loves that stuff, I can sort of see your point. However, technically, unless they do it in a secular fashion, it's unconsitutional. I think if it's a voluntary after school thing. . . great. But the problem is, a lot of us were mandated to sing VERY religious carols in school, and really, that's not fair. The token nod to the rest of us, whatever religion, was the dreidl song. (and we had several Hindus.)
However I totally don't agree with the modern tendency to eradicate ALL fun from school. Halloween is disappearing. The Christmas stuff too, and even sometimes the thanksgiving stuff. What do we all remember best about school? Bet it's not the spelling tests. They've got to find new ways to liven things up if they're going to get rid of all the old standbys.

Amen to that!!! We have to call our concert the "Winter" concert instead of the Christmas concert and there has to be all faiths represented, but as far as I'm concerned ...it's Christmas time and there should be a larger percentage of Christmas activities and recognition due simply to the huge percentage of Christians in our population. I really miss the little plays about the baby Jesus and all the trimmin's of a good old-fashioned Christmas pageant!! It had a beauty and a magical feel of the season and put everyone in the spirit. Merry Christmas to all!!

I agree with this to a certain extent-when did people begin to consider offense to be harm? IT'S NOT!!!! Your rights do not include being shielded from other people beliefs. Why kind of rational person gets offended by those things?
On the other hand, it is important to be diverse, and for kids to develop an understanding of all cultures and religions. Wouldn't it make sense to do Xmas at Xmas, Hanukkah at Hanukkah, and any other religious holidays as they came up?

Frivolous law suits. Everybody wants something for nothing so why not sue over Christmas songs? That's why the powers that be bend over backwards for the one kid (actually his parents) If you can call them that. Have a nice holiday anyway.

i do not understand if He allowed it to take position or not. If He did, then it actual does not be some thing that turns my abdomen or makes me doubt. God has one situation, it is your immortal soul. with the help of "your" I recommend you, as someone, repeated 6 billion circumstances over. He cares for anybody, as someone. If He ought to take your existence to maintain your soul, he will, and also you/we ought to continually thank Him for it. perchance He knew that with the help of allowing it to take position, He does not lose any extra souls to Hell, yet would get advantages souls to Heaven. possibly the numerous those who died that day were kept at the same time as they reached out to Him. possibly, if someones soul went to Hell that day, it replaced into because He knew they'd under no circumstances replace. seeing that, possibly He did do it to fill up the pews and ward off dropping extra interior the approach. guy enable evil into the international with the help of loose will. Now God ought to artwork with the international as we made it. For and Atheist, it shouldn't "turn their abdomen" if human beings trust this kind, no matter if or not they imagine that's extremely stupid. in the experience that they are in many circumstances purpose and say "IF" there replaced right into a God, and "IF" Heaven existed, as excellent as anybody reported it replaced into, and "IF" God extremely acted interior the way as defined above, "THEN" it may make experience. they could say, "i do not trust it, yet when/THEN it isn't monsterous in any respect".

Ok so you are spouting off about politcally correct "crap" yet you don't ever once say Christmas, but rather xmas. That bothers me more than any PC crap that anyone can dish out. If you aren't going to say Christmas, don't bother. That offends me.
