If you want to forget your first love do this:

1) Make a list of problems you had with this person- be truthful, like bad behavior this person had to you or other people, or bad breath at times. etc

2) Make a list of what physical issues that would have been a turn off if you never were in love - hang that on a wall for a month

3) Seek out everything that your first love gave to you and including photos - Burn it

I suppose it has something to do with what it is that you love about someone, because everyone is different. So even though you are very much in love, it just isn't the same, because there are other reasons why you love someone differently.
