A true Christian, a true christian, has no ego and would think everyone was just as good as the next person, and respect all life. I am talking about someone who follows Christ's teachings in every sense of the word, not necessarily a communal Church or its followers. I am sorry you have come in contact with such persons. In closing, a True Christian would not think he/she was better than anyone else, but that all people are equal.

I do not think that the followers of the Christian religion and sects are stock up. Christians are taught and believe that their religion is "the one and only" and that all other religions are "of the Devil." Their refusal to acknowledge the existence and respect other religions does not make them stoke up. If that is so...than the majority of the world's population - Christian or not - is stoke up.
As an atheist, are you stoke because you refuse to acknowledge the possible existence of God - rather it be the God of the Jews and Christians or the God of of Islam or Muhammad? Or are you just upset at the fact that they do not respect your wish to not believe?
As a Pagan coming from a Christian family (or family with Christian beliefs and values) I am often being harassed to "turn away from the Devil." And, my family and friends do not always respect my spiritual decision to believe and worship more than one god.

I don't think I am stuck up at all..I just know what the Lord has giving me..He has made me an overcomer and I am more than a conquer..In Christ Jesus..That don't make me stuck up...I know who I am in Christ...
before I got saved I lived in sin,,I was no different than any atheists who dont believe because I was rejecting Jesus..but now I am saved and I become new in Christ..My sins have been washed away,,although I can look back and still see what I have done in my life but God says no they are gone...You too can have the same gift Jesus gave to all of us but you choose not to believe therefore don't get mad at me when I hold my head up high cause I know who I am...I hope to you I don't sound stuck up,,I am just saying what I know..God Bless..

As a Christian I know that I am no better than any person. I am better off. Because I have seen the Love of God and understand His Salvation. And as a Christian it is my duty to love you and show Gods love manifest through me. That is Love you not judge you or be little you.

Most atheists are unhappy.
You seem to believe Christians are niave in thinking they can judge all atheists without knowing them and now you turn around and judge all christians the same way.

I want to apologize for anyone who thinks Christians are "better" than atheists. I am a Christian and the only thing I can say is the only difference between us is that I know there is a God and that I am forgiven. There is no one righteous apart from God.

some are, but then again, some aren't. some atheists may be stuck up as well. the Christians may think they are better because they "know they are saved", and some think they're better than others because of it.

A very simple answer to your question. Christians have just what the world calls them. They are one with Christ which atheist don't have. The atheist are alone in the desert with no one and Christ is in Heaven waiting for the righteous in Him and they have all the other Christians with them and in fellowship with them in their beliefs. Wonderful isn't it.

Those of The True Christian Faith are no different, on the whole, than any one else... in the eternal sense we are saved from the fate of the unsaved... in the mortal sense,there are some atheists who are very good and honerable individuals... and there are some who are less so to say the least... just as in any other social group..
