If you have purchased a ticket and the date is wrong, you generally have 24 hours to get it corrected at no charge. If the price of the ticket was based on the correct date, there will be no cost to you. If the price was based on the date on the reservation record, it will be repriced and you'll either get a refund of will have to make up the difference.

Once it's 24 hours old, the normal rules will apply. If it's a non-refundable deep discount fare, you'll have to pay the change penalty (usually $50 - $100) as well as any fare change. If the fair is lower for the correct date, you normally will NOT get a refund on the difference.

Sometimes you can plead your case to a reservation agent on the phone, but if you make the change on-line the change rules and charges will be applied automatically. For this reason, you should ALWAYS call the airline to make the correction; NEVER make a change on line unless there are no charges involved and the corrected fare is the same as what you've already paid!

Well, you don't specify the airline go my answer's going to be generic:
if the airline has a website, you can go there, enter the confirmation number and find out how much, if anything, it's going to cost you. Otherwise call the number on your documentation.
Be advised though, that some fares are no change/cancellation.
