I find it hard to believe that a 3 month old child would be having "a temper tantrum".
Babies at that age only throw "tantrums" if they are getting picked up all the time and be let to sleep in someones arms all the time and not put into bed to sleep.
It will be something simple or it could be nothing, anything like that with a child that young is a visit to someone in paediatrics who knows what they are talking about.
My son when he was that age was crying alot and very upset, everyone was telling me "babies cry, get over it" even our doctor at the time.
A parents instinct took us to a paediatrician and he had gastric reflux.
He needed strong medication because his throat was getting burnt every time he had his milk.
If we hadn't have gone to see someone he could have had a serious condition when he got older.
It really is better to be safe than sorry.
Good Luck.

My daughter at 15 months old still does that. I asked my doctor about it when she was about 4 months old. He told me that it was her way of throwing a temper-tantrum. Because something that she whats she is not getting it quick enough. She is slowly growing out of it into the more verbal temper tantrums. Its nothing to worry about.

That means the baby is not getting what it really wants, like older teenagers when they dont get what they want the throw there tantrums, my daughter in the other hand just throws her self back and does a fake cry.

At three months, could be just very fussy or could be something that needs checked by the doctor. At three years old temper tantrums and still could be something medical.

he's having a tantrum. I know, it sounds strange bcuz he's so young, but all he's trying to communicate with you all is that he is frustrated. Don't worry too much now, but when he gets older (like when he's a year) you should start punishing him for this action, or else you'll have a problem on your hands when he's older.
