If you do, I'd like to know why without being told that we just don't know, but we have to trust.
Do you really believe that "God" whom supposedly loves us would want that for any of us?

it depends,is the sick or dying or the person just dealing with daily life offering up these sacrifices for God?To suffer for no reason is just a waste

You seem to be in pain or frustrated so I hope this answer helps and does not come off flippant.

A good book to read over carefully is Job. Notice God never directly answers Job's questions that boil down to simply "why me." He does however give Job a lengthy list of questions that put very simply "who are you to question me?"

God has a salvation plan. Some one dying could be apart of that plan at times. But, remember Jesus himself, born of God was allowed to be beaten within an inch of his life and then put to death in a most horrific way. Now this was God's son whom he loved. So he may enlist us in the same way to bring about grace to another or oneself.

Remember, God created a paradise and man botched it up real good. Because of sin things changed and had to be made right. Until the second coming of Christ. Life in all it's beauty and ugliness will continue. God knows all that has and will happen. He intervene as he sees fit and for his reasons. (Reasons I believe are for the good of those who love or reaching out to those who have not seen him. Trying to meet them in their darkest hour.)

We are all appointed a time to die and even the worst amount of suffering will seem an insignificant price once we come face to face with our God in a place we cannot mess up again.

He sure don't want any of His children to suffer but life happens..Just because God don't step in between freewill does not mean He don't love you...

I do believe it is in God's plan; I just keep in mind that my view on things is minuscule compared to God, who sees the whole picture.
